Wear What You Love

Diamond tennis bracelet with the diamonds removed and set aside

Some of the people I work with know exactly what they want in their jewelry. For example, a client of mine likes clean lines and an uncomplicated design.

She was lucky enough that her husband gifted her a diamond tennis bracelet. Unfortunately, she didn't get much wear out of it, and it spent a lot of time in her jewelry box.

I always say, if you're not wearing your jewelry, the jewelry box is holding it hostage.

She came to me to create two new custom rings.

We removed the diamonds from the bracelet, and knew we had more than enough diamonds to create two stacking rings.

Next, we determined which style to pursue.

My first thought was to make the rings bezel-set to complement a three-stone diamond ring she already owned.

But the more we discussed, the more she was leaning toward a channel-setting. We settled on two beautiful stacking rings that she can wear often and pair with all of her jewelry.

When the pieces were finished, she was so excited to pick them up she met me at my apartment on a Sunday!

She loves her new rings and told me she plans on wearing them all the time.

TIP:  Remember, diamonds don't spoil. You can always redesign your diamond jewelry to make it into something you will really enjoy.

Let me know how I can help,
