Tanzanite and Diamond Earrings to Match Vacation Ring

A good friend of mine went on vacation and bought this beautiful tanzanite and diamond ring. She loves this ring, but then realized that she wanted a matching pair of earrings to wear to her brother's wedding.

She told me that she would just buy a pair of costume earrings but I told her "No! You can't do that! Let me help you design a one of a kind pair of earrings to match your ring!"

We wanted to keep a similar design to the ring where we incorporated marquise and round shaped diamonds. It took me a while to find the perfect pair of matched tanzanite gems, but once we found them it was easy to create a design around the tanzanites. She has beautiful long dark hair, so a hanging style earring worked best to accentuate her features.
