Quick Turnaround on New York Estate

A trusted eldercare attorney found my name through a search with the NY Bar Association. The executors of the estate needed several pieces of jewelry in a safe deposit box appraised and then sold.

I am always happy to travel to meet my clients. So we met at his safe deposit box and sat together to examine every item to gain an idea of the value of each piece. I gathered all essential information, took photographs, weights, and measures, and then created a formal legal appraisal document.

Afterward, I was assigned to sell all of the jewelry. Thanks to my connections throughout the industry, I was able to sell a gold pocket watch, two diamond rings, and various gold pieces within the short timeframe requested by the client.

Sometimes, large estates can be sold quickly if communication is clear. From our first conversation to the appraised prices, clarity was essential in the success of this project.

I am always willing to travel to you to appraise your pieces and discuss how to best sell your fine jewelry. I am also happy to answer any questions you may have about appraisals, sales, and my process.

Tip: When you are meeting with an appraiser, make sure you have all of the items that need to be examined ready before they arrive. It is the best use of your time and the time of the appraiser if everything is prepared prior to the appraisal itself.
