Oh Baby, What A Ring!

One of the pleasures of my job is creating custom jewelry for my clients and their extended families.

A very good client asked me to work with one of her family members. He had inherited his father's gold and diamond ring, but disliked the style.

As a designer in his own right, he had a specific style of ring he wanted in mind, but wasn't sure how to execute it. This is where I came in.

I went to his design studio, sat with him for a bit, and explained to him how I could design this ring and the process it would take to create it.

When I work with my clients I ask them if they want to be very involved in the process or if they'd rather trust me to deliver them a final piece of jewelry without as much involvement.

He decided he wanted to see the process. So, once I had the model made, I was able to send him a picture of the design with his diamond in place before the gold was cast.

He approved the design and I had it cast in 18K yellow gold. Once the ring was created, the diamond had to be set and the ring received its final polish.

He was so excited when I delivered the ring he immediately put it on, walked around, and showed everyone in his office.

What design have you been thinking about that I can create for you?

TIP: Understand the process of making a piece of jewelry and work with a trusted professional.

Any questions? I'd love to help you.
